Trust and Getting out of the Way

I was in Japan recently training with Dr Masaaki Hatsumi, the 34 th grandmaster of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu. ‘Bujinkan’ means ‘Hall of the Divine Warrior’ and Hatsumi Soke (grandmaster) is the inheritor of nine different schools of martial arts – the oldest of which has a written record from about 1100 AD, but which is much older and originated in China. Soke is 72 years old, and is considered a National Living Treasure in Japan. His teacher, Takamatsu Sensei, is acknowledged as the last real ninja in Japan.

Reiki on the Road

Have you always wanted to travel but your budget is a little short and you’re worried you’ll ‘feel so lonely I could die, boom boom’?

Well there’s something that you could take with you that might help; it doesn’t weigh a ton (it’ll even leave room for that extra book) and will always leave love and compassion strewn across the path behind you.

Reiki for Animals

For several years I had a practice at home for alternative treatments for people, although “practice” wasn’t the right word for it, because I never asked money for treatments at that time and I treated people that asked me for help. My husband and I had a company at home and between my busy work in our company I treated people.

The Joy of Life Meditation

This will take you to a wholesome place of beauty for the heart. Good for heart sickness (lack of love for self and others).

Take a deep breath, take that breath as if it were reaching down, deep to your soul. Breathe in - you have begun your search for the soul, breathe out and you are chasing it. Continue to breathe in this fashion as you follow the meditation. Do not force the breath but do focus on its vitality.

Reiki for Little Ones

A mother’s experience of working with Reiki on her son who was diagnosed with a tumor.

A shopping expedition just before the Christmas season of 1997 was my introduction to Reiki. At the time I was studying to be a freelance writer and had yet to develop much interest in natural therapies of any kind. Yet it was my son and his particular level of distress that brought me face-to-face with Reiki’s power. Four-and-a-half years later I am now beginning to bring the power of Reiki to other mums and infants.

Does a Watched Pot Never Boil?

Does your friend turn up just as you have given up waiting and are ready to leave?

And does that bus always come just as you light up a cigarette (we are not condoning smoking!)?

Quantum physics says YES! Our minds influence the action of inanimate objects around us. The book ‘The Mystery of the Crystal Skulls’ explains…

The Teacher of Life Itself

In 1980, I decided to participate in a Reiki course. I had been told by my doctors that by the time I was forty, I would be totally paralyzed and in a wheelchair. After the Reiki course I started to give myself Reiki, and I experienced a return to harmony on all levels. The paralysis disappeared but most importantly I felt I had touched my soul and had experienced deep peace. I had awakened from a long sleep.

Rachel’s Story of Cancer and Reiki

I completed your Reiki I last June shortly after you had moved to the Newtown centre. I enjoyed it immensely and met some wonderful people. A few weeks after my course and just after experiencing wonderful effects Reiki had on myself, my friend was diagnosed with breast cancer. I treated her with Reiki the night before she had the operation to remove the cancer. She was distracted and the Reiki calmed her and she told me it helped her sleep. I then went on to give her a Reiki session more or less once a week for the next 8 months.
