When we feel inner happiness we start to feel alive: an aliveness which brings joy, a smile on our face, and a freedom we haven’t felt before.

If you travel constantly, for the purpose of work or pleasure, you will know how stressfull it can be at times. The road network these days can be a difficult place to stay calm and focused. For the last four years, I have travelled from the UK to Gibraltar and back to the UK, a round trip that takes a week. It can mean very long hours some days, struggling to stay awake and keep your head, negotiating fast roads and aggressive drivers constantly testing your patience. Though, of late, I have felt an inner change.
Last day here in da Bronx before heading down South for continuing adventures, and I’m taking some time for reflection. Incredible things, grace, has been flowing here and although my life often seems to me to be magic, I don’t ever seem to get used to it.
And certainly not when magic happens on the subway…
Many people ask the question “What is Reiki?”.There are two ways of looking at this question.
From one angle Reiki means “spiritual energy”; our own innate brightness, our true nature, our essence or whatever words you want to use to express this. This innate brightness is often covered with layers of worry, fear, anger and attachments. So much so, that we cannot see its brightness anymore—it is completely hidden.
