Reiki Orbs

This page has been developed to show some interesting phenomena which we believe to be energetic in nature. As Reiki practitioners we have found them turn up mysteriously on some of our photos. They do not appear to be tied to any specific actions – though as you will see on this page, working with Reiki does seem to encourage them to appear.

As to what ‘they’ are – here is an example of a couple of these orbs on the wall of our Reiki practice room.

Interestingly, the photos were taken in different places, at different times of the year, over many years and by two different cameras (both digital). Another curious aspect is that one photo might be full of these orbs, or energy spirals while the next photo is void. The person who took the photos also varies. There are few consistencies between these photos to help give us more of an indication as to what ‘they’ are. They all have the same look and appear almost randomly in the photo and, yet, as we have said – working with Reiki has definitely improved the ratio of chance that they will appear.

So, what do we think they really are…

Energetic manifestations which we affectionately like to call Reiki Orbs (using the definition of Reiki as “spiritual energy”not the actual practice of it developed by Mikao Usui).

The photos below are snapshots – so to see the Reiki orbs click on the photos below and you will see, not one, not two, but in many cases multitudes of beautiful energetic orbs. They appear to be highly detailed but due to their transparent hue this is difficult to qualify.

This painting of his (which we have a personal connection with – but that is another story and perhaps one better told in person) bears a strong resemblance to the detail that we have sometimes been able to fathom from these orbs. How interesting that this artist’s eye may have seen that which the camera lens transforms. It is interesting to note that Max Ernst was also an artist whom some have linked to alchemical practices and he is said to have placed many alchemical symbols within his works[[Max Ernst and Alchemy – A Magician in Search of Myth, M.E.
