If you can no longer care for a sick pet, or you have an animal that needs hospice care, a North Bay couple offers a loving home. This husband and wife are this week’s Jefferson Award winners.
Many people who practice the system of Reiki have energetic experiences, some are very subtle while others are massively overwhelming.
When practitioners have an overwhelming experience, they often ask if they have had a Kundalini experience.
Some Reiki teachers say that this is impossible as Kundalini is very different to Reiki. But lets take a closer look to see if this statement is correct or not.
Live! Live! Live!
Chant along - or just listen - as Frans chants the 4 healing Reiki mantras. Each mantra will be chanted for 20 minutes with the teleclass taking 1.5 hours in total.
EVERYONE is welcome!
Many practitioners use the words “healing crisis” when referring to an energetic response to the system of Reiki, but is this correct?
Most of us label the word, crisis, as something negative, so when we talk about a healing crisis we start to see this as a negative aspect of our healing.
But healing is all about becoming healthy and whole, even though in the process we might experience clearing or purification when we do hands on healing or have a daily meditation practice.
Hmmm, chocolate and Reiki for animals…related? I say yes!
I had the distinct pleasure of visiting Switzerland this past May. As I ate my way through every chocolatier in the Lake Geneva district, you may have thought wow all she wants to do is eat chocolate. Well, yes perhaps that is true, however I’m here to tell you that I was also doing very important research on animal Reiki!
Registered nurse, Reiki Teacher and IHReiki Shinpiden graduate, Karren O’Sullivan, volunteers at the Tulsa Animal Shelter. Watch her great Reiki work with kittens and the other shelter animals.
Through Shinpiden I learned that the point of working with the symbols is to open to that energy within myself. Once I become that energy, it will be available for a client to draw upon as needed in a Reiki treatment without me consciously trying to use the symbol. It will also be a natural part of me. The symbol/mantra are tools, but ones that assist me to become one with that energy. They do not hold the power in themselves, but are tools that are used to open me to the energy so that it will be present when needed. The symbol/mantra may be released when I become the energy.
The Tomah Reiki Retreat is a remarkably beautiful place where students come and study the system of Reiki. But it needs a few facelifts. Can you help out?
